DISH Network expanded their local HD reach yesterday, adding another market to the lineup.
The addition was the city of Norfolk, Newport News areas. The addition of this market brings the total number of local channel HD markets to 55.Overall, this represents 64% of US households.So how is DISH Network doing on their promise to reach 100 local HD markets and have 100 national HD channels?

DISH Network has made nice progress in the local HD arena, adding the majority of these cities in the month of April.
Nationally, however, many continue to be frustrated with their HD choices.DISH Network did add 3 national HD channels last month including CNN HD, Sci Fi HD, and the USA HD.But as far as the rest of the list of HD channels DISH provided as “may” add in 2008, viewers have seen nothing new.
