DISH has over 200 channels in HD, offers HD free or life to ALL its customers and has GoogleTV, TV Everywhere and much, much more!! I have been disgusted with cablevision since they dropped voom. That was the best thing cv had to offer. When I questioned them about the change, they claimed voom dropped them, but they would fill in the slots. Cablevision stinks!!! They are filling all their channels with reality shows, and they are horrible, not worth watching. Am considering dropping cv

I’ve had it with Dish. Direct TV is now a better choice – and cheaper. First they dropped VOOM, then the Smithsonian channel – they can’t seem to make a deal with my local ABC outlet which meant I couldn’t watch the Rose Bowl nor the Academy Awards. So long Dish!

I have family cable, aside from cnn, tcm, not one station is of any interest! I don’t need hockey 1,2,3,4,5, and so
on! Not interested in Hbo! Besides, I lost terrific high
def programming that is being replaced with unwanted
channels that I have to pay for! Shame on cablevision!
Thinking of dropping it all together!!!

Cablevision never disappoints me with more reasons to hate them. I unfortunately am not able to get anything else, so i’m stuck with them. But losing RaveHD and a few random other ones from Voom makes me want to move somewhere where people are like “Cablevision who?”. Get your crap together CV and while your at it lose those idiotic commercials.

TV companies seem to think chasing advertising revenue combined with cheap programming is a smart move. It’s not when most of your subscribers/viewers start cancelling.

It suprises me that good content that is not just water down crap like most TV is being tossed off Cablevision. They used to have the best content in the Long Island area, now they have nothing special and charge way too much.

I remember when Dish Network launched Voom with a seperate satallite on my roof. Those days are gone and now DirectV owns HD.
