Thanks, but I would want to have the same pricing for at least two years.
I am calling them about this right now, we'll see what happens.

I have had Dish since 2008. I was paying $94.99 in 2008 and now I pay $114.99 in 2010
We notice the premium channels just keep repeating the movies over and over and there never seems to be anything new or current. Some people say Direct TV is a rip off, and the same about Dish. I guess they all are. Dish charges $4.99 for that instant "fix" of movies on demand, But if you have Netflix you pay $8.99 for unlimited movie streaming per month. (into xbox360,the new dvd players, wii, etc) Not to mention having a movie arrive in the mailbox the next day. I think where they get people in is that they give this great price, but they show what the price will be after the promotions end.

Last year, Dish Network raised our 200 channel package from $49.99 to $52.99... I just got my bill for July and they raised it another $2, so now it's $54.99!! What the heck is that about?!?! I was never informed that they were going to be increasing prices again. Not to mention, we are now (over the last several months) being charged $7 for one of our receivers, when this whole time, we were only charged $5. I think I will be giving them a call. Our contract isn't up until November of this year.

My rates with Dish went up by almost 20%. I think when a company asks you to commit to a 24 month term, they should not be allowed to raise prices until the term is over. Never again!

I'm annoyed that the signal doesn't come in all the time here in Alaska. Every time it rains the signal goes out, even a slight mist causes it to go out. Also, every spring and fall I loses the signal for days at a time. I've called Dish about this several times in the 9 years I've had this service and they tell me that those seasonal outages are normal for where i live. I think they should give me a discounted rate for those months when my signal is spotty at best. If you can find another service other than Dish Network in your area I would go for it, Unfortunately I have no choice of carriers where I live.

DishNet equipment pricing has become horrible. even if you spend $300+ to buy your own HD DVR, you pay $17/month. If you lease from DN, you still pay same. That's crazy. They don't want you to own equipment so that you are at their mercy. Have you ever heard of buying your own car and still be forced to make lease payments?

DN - get real. Be reasonable ....

Just got my recent bill from Dish network. My bill went up $35 because I have six receivers. Duo DVR's were $5 + $6.95 now $17, Basic went from $5 to $7 and Duo's went from $5 to $14. I owned all receivers but one. Time to switch back to cable. At Mediacom got two DVR's and extended basic plus star and encore for 12 months for $65 per month. I still can watch most channels on the other 4 TV's . These stupid companies need to learn not to punish their loyal customers. 10 Years with Dish Network. Bye Bye...

I have duo dvr's in five rooms and my bill went up 50.00 a month. I own all the dvr's and Dish is charging me 68.00 a month to use them. The programming cost remains the same, but now I am charged a ridiculous price to use my own equipment??????
