Some people say Direct TV is a rip off, and the same about Dish. I guess they all are. Dish charges $4.99 for that instant "fix" of movies on demand, But if you have Netflix you pay $8.99 for unlimited movie streaming per month. (into xbox360,the new dvd players, wii, etc) Not to mention having a movie arrive in the mailbox the next day. I think where they get people in is that they give this great price, but they show what the price will be after the promotions end. I have had Dish since 2008. Our contract isn't up until November of this year. I think they should give me a discounted rate for those months when my signal is spotty at best. If you can find another service other than Dish Network in your area I would go for it, Unfortunately I have no choice of carriers where I live. Time to switch back to cable. At Mediacom got two DVR's and extended basic plus star and encore for 12 months for $65 per month. I still can watch most channels on the other 4 TV's . These stupid companies need to learn not to punish their loyal customers. 10 Years with Dish Network. Bye Bye... Just got my recent bill from Dish network.
