I went with direct tv because dish network was screwing around with me so much…..and now I’m getting ripped off by directtv of course. I started my service here 3 months ago…new to the area…..well they didn’t have particular packages when I got here (IE the sunday ticket)…….so now if you do a bundle with qwest you can get the choice extra, dvr, sunday ticket, and movie channels for about $58……..I’m paying $170 for the movie channels, choice extra and sunday ticket. Even though they didn’t have that package available when I signed up…..they still won’t work on my account to get me a better deal and won’t let me do the bundle deal because I’m already a customer……..So existing customers get penalized and ripped off……..and if I try to cancel direct tv they said they’re going to charge me a $400 cancellation fee!!!!!!!!!! So that’s what I get for being a directtv customer……..I pay over $100 more for the same service someone else gets…….I’m really glad they help out their existing customers…..the least they could’ve done was come up with a bundle package for the existing customers as well.
