Many components come into play when trying to find a TV provider that fits all your needs. Being a customer and employee of DISH Network, I can say that from a consumer stand point that DISH was the way to go for me even before working here. "More for less"... who wouldn't love that? Especially these days, every penny counts, and needless to say DISH Network fulfilled every aspect of a TV provider that I could have asked for. All product quality aside, condensing the receiver fees with the dual tuners, HD free for the LIFETIME of your account, not to mention; after the promotional period expired, the base price was still less than cable providers. The third HD receiver was free, DISH's DVR have the largest hard in the industry, so more recording time, 100% digital programming, the most HD channels in the industry, HD free for life, and Video on Demand in 1080p. There are plenty of reasons to go with DISH! (:

I had Dish Network from about 2000 to 2006, really had no problems with it other than I wanted to have a triple play package. With the cable company here (RCN cable) I was able to get everything for around $120 a month. I would rather have the Dish Network programming, but there just isnt the triple play option there.

I have always been a fan of Dish Network. The programming is pretty much the same. The only significant difference is the cost. Dish is about 50% less expensive than most of the other service providers. That is the most important thing for me.

Since I got my Sony Bravia Flat Panel TV I am after HD channels . Currently I have only the regular program and it is not justify the price for the high def tv.
I am thinking of using cable, because I want to have internet access too. cable offers both, but on the other hand I really don't like to have everything from one company. From that angle sat tv is a better deal even. Dish network have a good and wide selection on HD content.
