Hardly 60 days go by without a problem with U-Verse. Comcast is the worst and U-Verse is running a pretty close second. U-Verse is a HUGE consumer disappointment. Hate having a satellite dish on my roof but that may be the best means of getting the most for my money.

When it comes to deciding between Uverse and DISH Network the first thing I think of is the amount of HD provided and how many recording hours I can get on my DVR; that's why I made the decision to work and subscribe with DISH Network! When you compare the two, DISH has way more HD channels (the leader in the industry) and offer a bunch more recording hours in both SD and HD on the DVR. DISH Network’s 722 DVR receiver has three times the amount of storage capacity to the AT&T Motorola VIP216 receiver with their new 922 receiver even offering a 1 terabyte hard drive. All in all it's been really great subscribing with DISH and I will never have any intention to switch just based on these simple facts. :)

I've been with Dish Network for several years and do like the service. Only problem I had was when the location of my dish had to be moved from one side of the roof to the other, Dish refused to remove the old bracket from my roof. So I have the dish set up where it is supposed to be and a dish bracket sticking out of the other side of my roof. I was pretty upset about that and made several calls and was told they don't take the brackets out for liability purposes.

Dish Network has been great for us. We previously had DirectTV and they were a nightmare. Between the triple charging and customer service, I would never recommend DirectTV.

Dish has the best HD channels, quantity and quality-wise.

I wish they were a little cheaper on their package prices. But hey, at least they are reliable and tech support has been very helpful.

I am a customer of dish network, and was an AT&T customer until they sold it. Yes, as explained to me by AT&T, U-verse is now the service they provide.

Dish network as a service is fair to good, but the installation by their contractor was a nightmare!

But now IP Television is also coming. What do you think about that ?

People are saying with this technology dish or cable TV will be history and no one would like to use it.

Any thought on this.
