I like Dish Network and it has served us well. However, I am very frustrated that they do not yet carry the MLB Network. This is very frustrating to us baseball fans.

I have contacted Dish and they say they have been unable to reach a financial agreement. It is about time that you stop depriving your customers that are baseball fans. It is a great channel and I have to go to my friends house who carries DirecTV to watch it.
Dish needs to take care of it’s customers and reach an agreement to carry this channel before we miss another season.

Ok – How about the NCAA tournament? Why would the NCAA (or whomever) select TruTv for Television coverage? OK – my gripe with the NCAA is a different issue however for Dish subscribers TruTv (not commonly a sports channel), is only available for subscribers with packages of 250 chanels or more. Anyone who wants to route on their team (in this case SU) has to buck up for extra channels typically not viewed, or find a venue other than home to watch the game. Dish should have made this channel available for all their subcribers during March Madness. This oversite will be enough for me to eliminate Dish from my home.

They do now have MLB on TV. They give HD for free as where Direct charges for the box. The NFL Redzone isn’t bad for $7 a month. Way better then the $100′s Direct TV charges. Oh ya, Direct gives you 6 months to pay for it, but football last about 4 months and that 4th month is all on National TV with the playoffs and Super Bowl! With Dish, your allowed to change your package when you want. Watch football for 3 months and then turn it off. $21 and that’s it! Tru Tv is in the 200 package. Dish has dropped a lot of channels from the 250 package down to the 200 & 120. For the NFL fans. One small part of the NFL strike, was that the players want monies from the NFL package Direct sells. The contract is over next year with Direct. Every cable and satellite provider may have the package so that the network can make more money. Also possible that the rates will be a lot cheaper. Oh ya, no one has 6-9999 channels!

dish network sucks… i have been with the company for years.. and it was fine until i signed up for the bundle package.. the company loses payments.. or has a payment option that when you make a payment… it don’t go right to your account.. it is said on there end it will make mistakes on the next bill.. they don’t send bills out right away, and when you use the old bill to make a payment.. there are some glitches in the system.. and will mess up the bill payments.. although, i have made a payments every month and the bill just keeps getting bigger.. growing.. as if it has a mind of its own.. i average about 185 a month.. and now my bill is close to 700 dollars.. and when i speak to supervisors on the phone.. i get two different answers.. one is telling me of internet payments… the other is telling me satellite bills.. not getting a confirmation of what it is that i owe (in the company’s eyes) i am so thinking of moving over to direct tv.. will see..

so, if you had a choice.. don’t go with dish network..
